What is a basic job posting on Tech Jobs for Good?

Basic job postings are a great way for employers to try out the Tech Jobs for Good job board. A basic job post is active for 30 days and is visible to our 16,000 monthly job seekers looking for mission-driven technology roles in the US.

*Note: All job postings on Tech Jobs for Good require a salary range.


What’s the difference between a basic job posting and a featured job posting?

Featured job postings ($195 for 30 days) are a premium job advertisement that offers additional visibility to the Tech Jobs for Good audience and are promoted through the following ways:

Increased Visibility / Increased Applicants

  • Featured job postings are given higher visibility on the Tech Jobs for Good job board. By being featured higher in the job results, these jobs get more views and more qualified applicants than basic job posts.
  • Featured job postings are included in a weekly email to over 6,000 mission-driven job seekers.
  • Featured job postings are posted across Tech Jobs for Good’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook) to reach an audience of over 10,000 followers.

Streamlined Applications

  • Basic jobs postings require job seekers to be logged in to apply - this is not required for featured job postings and is a seamless experience for job seekers resulting in more applicants.

Additional Employer Tools

  • Employers with an active featured job posting can use our reporting tools to see the number of views and number of job seekers who click apply on their job posting. 
  • Employers with featured job postings can view a list of the logged in job seekers who clicked apply on their job postings. The list links to the candidates job seeker profile in the Tech Jobs for Good candidate database.
  • Employers with a featured job posting can use our candidate database to proactively connect with over 4,000 job seekers with full profiles on Tech Jobs for Good and invite them to apply to your jobs.

How do I post a featured job?

In order to post a featured job, you will need to create an employer account tied to your company and post a job here. If you run into any issues, check out our help article on posting a job or send an email to support@techjobsforgood.com.

You can also save $100 by purchasing 5 featured job credits at a time here. This is a great option if you expect to hire several roles in the future, but don’t exactly know when - job credits never expire.
